My senior independent study was focused on gothic cathedrals design and architecture. I created two pieces that year along with an study for each of them and I continue to recreate cathedrals for custom pieces.

Cathedral Studies
I became interested in cathedrals because of Stephanie Storey’s book Oil and Marble. This novel is a historical fiction based on the lives and rivalries of Raphael Santi and Michael Angelo. I begun studying architecture of the European cathedrals and different artistic styles throughout different time periods.
