My name is Taylor Guillotte and I am a recent graduate from Tulane University, where I studied design and minored in business. Over the past four years, I have studied general design in the architecture program at Tulane. This major is focused on studying and learning different areas of design, such as product, furniture, interior and exterior, graphic, and fashion. I have taken courses and studios in all of these different subsections and I feel that by learning all of these different aspects of the industry has improved my creative thought process.

As well as learning in the classroom, I have had four internships in graphic design, costume design, and fashion design. I have also worked in retail at clothing stores in New Orleans and have started my own brand on the side. In my junior spring semester I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy and study fashion design, marketing and merchandising, and Italian. That time abroad not only inspired me to continue studying fashion design, but it opened up my eyes to the beauty of experiencing a new language and culture and how important it is to learn about the world outside of our own.
