Newcomb Studio was created out of the desire to create unique game day outfits. My friend Coco and I were sitting at my dinning room table when the idea came to mind. We both were interested in sustainable designing and upcycling clothing and we also realized the issues that college students had with shopping fast fashion.

Newcomb Studio is a clothing brand that was created to pull Tulane students away from fast fashion brands and to give them a unique alternative. Each of our pieces were either sourced, upcycled, or made from second hand materials.

We started the brand the summer of 2024 and throughout the fall semester of 2024 and 2025 we held pop up sales on campus and surrounding for students to shop at.

I have learned so much from this brand and passion project over the last few years. I gained and learned the importance of marketing and branding, how to know your audience, and how to work to make your passion and dreams possible.

This was one of the most fun and difficult things I have done but I loved every minute of it. As of now, Coco and I are deciding whether to pass the brand down or to expand it.
